Ben is the Senior Pastor at High Lakes Community Church in La Pine, Oregon. He has been in full-time pastoral ministry since 2002 and his passion is discipleship and communicating the Word through sound Biblical preaching. His mission is to empower and equip people to realize their God-given potential and talents for the sake of blessing their communities and expanding the God’s Kingdom. Ben loves spending time with family and friends doing anything in outdoor recreation, especially if it involves extreme adrenaline or barbecue meat.
TJ Auten recently moved to Oregon from Michigan with his wife and two daugthers to begin serving as Youth Pastor at Eastmont Church in Bend, Oregon.
TJ started riding at the age of four and spent his younger years as a weekend warrior, mostly riding motocross, and sometimes off-road. He achieved multiple state championships and has participated at Loretta Lynn's several times over his amateur career, including most recently 2019 in the 25+ class. In 2006-2008 after receiving pro credentials, TJ qualified for a handful of outdoor nationals, finishing in the mid-20s.
Most of TJ’s involvement in moto now revolves around preaching and teaching at FCA motocross camps and riding for leisure. Though it’s hard to find tracks to ride at in the PNW area, he knows there will be plenty of riding opportunities in the near future!
Scott is a 13-time champion dirt bike racer! He’s an Oregon native, originally from the Oregon Coast, who lives in Redmond where he operates a successful dirt bike suspension and service business (www.one13suspension.com ). Scott started riding dirt bikes at age seven and began racing at age 18. After competing at a high level (AA-PRO class), setting several records, and achieving multiple championships in his first decade of racing, Scott decided to pursue a college education and became an OHV specialist with the U.S. Forest Service. In 2017, Scott returned to competition and found himself back on the podium in the Vet A class. In 2021, he returned to the National Hare and Hound series and achieved his lifetime goal of earning an AMA National Championship in the Vet A class. He still races in the Vet A class of Hare and Hounds and attends local events as either a racer or team manager, helping out other racers.
Scott is the grandson of a pastor and his faith journey includes growing up in small, non-denominational Christian churches. He uses his gifts, passions and knowledge to serve the local and regional OHV community, and he’s actively involved with many different motorcycle clubs and organizations that put on community events ranging from clinics, races, poker runs and kids events. When he’s not working on bikes, out testing or training, or working on trails or riding them, Scott spends time with friends and family, either relaxing or enjoying the outdoors through hiking, trail running or mountain biking.
